ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Marco Navarro DDS, MS

Dr. Navarro is a practicing orthodontist specializing in sleep appliance therapy, TMJ and early growth and development intervention. He is a former faculty of orthodontics New York University and the University of Detroit Mercy, and he served as a part-time faculty member in the post-graduate orthodontic program at Autonomous University of Nuevo León. Dr. Navarro currently works as an Invited Teaching Fellow with University of Detroit Mercy and the AEO USA Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion. He lectures nationally and internationally on emerging technologies and industry trends and is often sought out for his expertise in diagnosis and treatment planning.

WEBINAR OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this instructional webinar, the participant will be able to:

1. Understand proper development of the midfacial regions, jaw and occlusion to impact compromised airways
2. Understand how to address the upper airway during orthodontic treatment
3. Identify possible signs of TMD/TMJ issues
4. Understand how to avoid TMJ and other complications when treating patients with dental sleep appliances
